By Hagenæs Jyllinge lies a beautiful house right by the water overlooking Roskilde Fjord. The house is on a steep slope and despite it being above the beach by a few metres, it was flooded by the storm flood “Bodil” in 2013. The owner of the house has chosen a solution, whereby FloodFrame is not installed all the way around the house. The house is placed inside the slope and therefore the water cannot force its way to the back. FloodFrame is in this instance installed only on the front of the house ending in horizontal boxes on each side of the house. This is a great solution that can be used concerning row houses or other buildings, where it’s not suitable to place FloodFrame all round.
Vig – a beautiful farm on the outermost isthmus
In Kongsøre, right by the entrance to Lammefjord, lies a beautiful newly renovated house. The house has a fantastic view over the water, but is also at risk of being flooded.
